take a walk

so today i went for training again. was one hell of a training session i swear my coach is a compulsive liar..always makes training harder than he says it'll be. so today i was doing 300m intervals and like yesterday i was saying about how having a song in your head really makes a difference to the way you run cause of the in-built tempo thingy. today was really funny cause it was this song that had quite an alright beat but was called "take a walk" by spoon. and you know when you are running and dead beat but still running, the first thing that comes to mind is to stop and well..take a walk!haha. unfortunately i cant find that song online so you cant hear it.haha sorry!

on the bus home i was just thinking to myself. just recently i was like doing so many things, like staying over doing this and doing that. but now i've just been training for i don't know what and coming home to go online and do this shit and look at friendster and check my email and chat on msn and all the common rubbish we do on the net. guess like everyone got kinda bored of doing the same thing over and over again. well also because like almost everyone i know has kinda started working or was already working except for the bunch of us guys who are going into the army in jan.

there's like only one thing i look forward to. it's the planned stayover at brendan's house next fri. he just got back from europe and bought me a swiss army knife! thanks bren guess it may be of help in the army.haha. anyway he bought this bottle of johnny walker black label whiskey and we are planning to finish that bottle at his house. it'll kinda be and encore of what we did the last time just that more people will be here this time and playing poker and dota and what have you. they kinda want it to be like the party at my house and since bren didnt come the last time he wants to have it too. well they cant have it at my house this time cause my parents are back so it'll be at bren's house, the next best place where free will can be fully attained.haha. i was thinking to myself and comparing this party we're having at bren's house to a bachelor party that a guy holds before he gets married. it's kinda like the last chance to be someone that you were before changing for something or someone. for me it's before i go army. so ya. does it make any sense?

so anyway this morning i was talking to rachel on msn and we were like talking about songs and all and she recommended me this song by weezer called burndt jamb and it was really nice! we were saying like how it makes us feel when we listen to this song and i was telling her it made me feel like as though i was in one of those cafes by the beach sipping cocktails. and she said with a cold wind and a hot sun. and i thought to myself that that's what life should be man. haha. anyway couldnt find that song online either so here's another one by weezer. it's from the same album.

yay yay! it's my sis's birthday today and we're gonna eat at the crab shack. it's this place that sells great crabs along thomson road and i recommend it to all you people who love crabs but don't wanna go all the way to east coast.haha. i'm gonna eat the crab baked rice today. are you salivating yet? i am!haha.
