truth or truth

the days to my enlistment are really disappearing fast man.sheesh.

and i'm not doing much with my life nowadays..feel very sedated and i just like sleep for most of the days that i have nothing on..like today i've taken three naps so far and it still doesn't feel like it's enough.haha.

oh ya the track chalet was so bloody awesome!! apart from the fact that we got super dirty playing some of the games, everything else was just so great!

well it started in the morning where we played some normal games like basketball, soccer and touch rugby in a god forsaken place in changi.that was ok, just gave me terrible muscle aches yesterday and today.haha.

lunch was bought from that hawker centre in changi with damn good nasi lemak and ate it at the chalet itself..the chalet was huge and very nice..right in front of the beach..though i wouldn't say it was a beach..more like a mucky oil spill with sand that tore the bases of my feet. sand is so over-rated..it's just eroded rocks.

anyway after lunch was the games that the J1s organized for us..stuff like "fantasy island"- which is just a fancy name for a game meant to get us dirty and stuff blindfolded.haha.

well showered after that but couldn't get the smell of coffee out of my nose..anyways had my favourite part after that..the barbeque! i just so love barbeques.haha.oh man then came the highlight after that..lionel was like telling everyone to gather in the house for a while..so we all did and we all sat around then they sat around and jackie(on behalf of the J1s) started to give a speech..and boy was it a speech..nearly moved me to tears because they were so sincere about it..then they gave us home-made cookies with a personalized messages in it..i just knew mine had a underlying message..it went "never stay disappointed..you were the ups in the downs" gosh when i first read it i thought it was so sweet but later on i realized that they might be actually talking about me and her..and not to stay disappointed that things turned out like this..i mean why would the trackers ask me to never stay disappointed if not for this? i mean i've never been disappointed with track and all..so ya.thats what made me think..

after that was free and easy and we kinda didnt have much to do so we decided to take a little tour of old changi hospital.personally i'm not really superstitious and don't really get scared of ghosts and all although they do freak me out sometimes. jj was damn worried that we might get possessed and anthea would only go if there were an even number of people..which there was in the end..so ya she came along in the end.

my second time in there wasn't as scary as the first time..was kinda boring this time actually..so we came back to the chalet after a while..we played cards for a while and man i've gotta say, i'm kinda good at the game hearts..haha..well it got kinda boring again so we started to watch the asian games..then something caught my eye..i saw lionel and shi ming playing the guitar..well shi ming was playing and lionel was teaching her and i thought that they were oh so cute together..how sweet..although it wasn't me..seeing them made me feel really happy for them..at least someone managed to get the promised prize.

that kinda just reminded me of this song by Bright Eyes.lovely song though it may take some getting used to.



anyway i felt a little tired from the whole day so i went to one of the rooms to lie down..i didnt want to sleep..not on my last ever track chalet..lucky for me i didnt or i would have missed out hell alot too..in the room lay jackie and i was like..hey lets talk man..before i knew it..brendan came in..jj next..angie, faye and xin ying after a while..and there we all were talking in the dark in a room where the aircon was spoiled and stunk because of all the soiled clothes in people's bags.

then at about 3am we went out to eat some marshmellows and then we all had a bright idea of going to changi village to see the trannies and eat prata and drink the night away. the prata sucked but the wild turkey whiskey was good. we walked back and talked about a whole lot of stuff..stuff that people who were high talked about.

we went to the water front later on and talked..at first was just ATG and xin ying so we decided to play truth or truth where we spinned the whiskey bottle and the person it pointed at would have to answer a question..no options..haha..was very enlightening..lionel and shi ming and daryl low came later on which made it even more fun..we did this all the way to sunrise where everyone just knocked out after that..

that kinda sums up the whole chalet..and it wouldn't sound so exciting but ya i have to admit it was kinda one of my most enjoyable chalets ever..thank you guys and girls who made this happen..noone could ever ask for a better set of friends than you all!
